The iLappSurgery Foundation was started out of passion for surgery and therefore it’s set up as a non-profit organization.

iLappSurgery Foundation

The goal of the Foundation is to develop educational material concerning specific advanced techniques in the field of minimal-invasive and in particular laparoscopic surgery and to make such material available to surgeons, residents and other interested parties worldwide in the form of web based teaching modules easily accessible as App-modules on devices such as iPhone and iPad as well as Android devices.

As a result we aim at increasing the level of (minimal-invasive) surgical skills in order to lengthen the life expectancy of patients, to improve their quality of life and to shorten the duration of hospital stay.

As a non-profit organization we received support by other foundations, medical companies, educational grants and private donations enabling us to develop the present teaching modules.

New donations will be partly used for maintenance of the website and the teaching modules but most of the donations will be invested in new content and the development of new chapters. You are invited to use the donation button to show your appreciation and support us.
