TaTME module

In this project we aim to disseminate knowledge regarding Transanal TME (TaTME) using an interactive on-line application. The project offers guidance from experts, detailed medical illustrations, 3D-animations, and colorized videos excerpts demonstrating key concepts.

'Video-in-Photo' (VIP): Please download the iLappVIP application for iPhone or Android to link the images in this session of the website to the operative videos of surgical techniques. Images that are qualified for use with the application are identified by the presence of the "VIP" logo.


To use the VIP-feature, open the iLappVIP application on your smart device. Subsequently allow your phone to access your camera.
This will activate the camera within the application and illustrations containing the VIP-logo will be recognized and linked to the appropriate video demonstration of the technique.
